A Better Train Than Never

Desiree’s quiet life as a crossword puzzle writer is upended when her fiery friend Eva turns the town’s abandoned train station into a vintage club with a live mystery game.

Creating the game pulls Desiree into the famous unsolved art heist that happened there thirty years before, and leads her to Pranav, a sarcastic detective who failed to crack the case as a young investigator.

Using art forensics, clues from the game, and old-fashioned wit, they piece together the unsettling truth about the heist, landing them in the crosshairs of someone determined to keep the truth hidden.
